    by Mark E. Gallo
Produced by Kaz Kazanoff, this features the likes of bassist Preston Hubbard (Roomful of Blues, Fabulous T-Birds), Riley Osbourn (Jerry Jeff Walker, Willie Nelson, Sue Foley) on keys, guitar great David Grissom (Joe Ely, Allman Bros), harmonicat Gary Primich, and other top notch players backing those impressive Candye Kane pipes. Her vocal power is never in doubt on cuts like the opening title piece, and her sense of nuance and subtlety are equally evident on the lilting “What Happened to the Girl”, her cover of “What A Day For A Daydream,” and “I Could Fall For You.” Never fear, she gets plenty rowdy on “Big Fat Mommas are back In Style,” “Work What You Got” and “Masturbation Blues.” “It Must Be Love” is my favorite of the bunch, but it’s a big bunch of Candye and that’s always loads of fun.
