By now, Popa Chubby should be no stranger in the music biz. He has a world-wide following. On this, his latest, and most controversial recording to date; he plants his foot into the groin of the current administration that has all but ruined this country. People in general, have for the most part, been afraid to speak out. Not so with Popa; again-his magnificent foot. The working class have been replaced by slaves in third world countries. Every area of American Industry has moved part of their operations-and in many cases entire companies-into China, Korea, South American countries, and Mexico. If you dig GM, there's a good chance that your car was built in Mexico. Try customer service when you want to solve a problem. There's a good chance that someone in India, will answer the phone-and your problem won't be solved. But hell, for 20 cents an hour, who's going to put some effort into helping you? I certainly wouldn't bust my ass for pennies. Even the higher-end of the upper middle class are losing their jobs and homes-once, former Republican voters-now, displaced citizens. Naturally, I could wax political for hours; the one thing you'll notice is Popa Chubby. This disc is an attack on an indifferent president and the demise of a once great nation. The re-building process will take years to repair. In my book, this is the most important album of 2004. Popa carries each and every song the way you'd expect him to. His explosive guitar and lyrics are evident throughout.
