Just to keep your profile up to date with Walter Trout, He Came! He Played! He Astounded. As his tour of the UK winds up, Walter Trout and the Free Radicals played one of their last gigs. From a tour that started back in March draws to a close, when you would expect the men and music to show signs of tiredness, the quality of the band just grows and grows. In front of an appreciative crowd at "The Brook" Southampton UK, Walter and the guys shared their music and humour, hearts and souls with the audience who loved and milked very second. The humour exploded when the stage was invaded by a spider performing aerobatics over the head of the band, but Walter asked the arachnid to pick on his string and jam with the band. Although the music was pretty quiet from the spider ( I don't think he had the right connection to plug into the sound system) his addition to the atmosphere and outstanding ambiance was fantastic. It is unfair to describe the Southampton gig as another polish and professional performance; one expects nothing else from Walter Trout. Let's just say that once again, they ripped into the hearts and souls of the audience and left them bleeding in ecstasy on the floor of the concert hall here in Southampton. The band is on it's way back to the US within the next few days but their UK fans will be hammering the on the doors demanding them back as soon as possible.
