Tom Asp, a frequent contributor to the Twin Cities Blues News and Blues On Stage website (www.mnblues.com), will be making his first Midwest based blues photo exhibit and showing in La Crosse, Wisconsin this upcoming Winter season.
The gallery style show will be open to the public from Saturday, December 15, 2001 through March 31, 2002. It's titled: Blues As Seen Through The Lens of Tom Asp.

Probably no other Midwest based photographer is as well known for his graphic depiction of live blues as Robinsdale, Minnesota's Tom Asp.
For the last decade his work has appeared in Blues Revue Magazine, Minnesota Monthly Magazine, The Twin Cities Blues News, Blues On Stage website (www.mnblues.com), and CD and LP covers to numerous to mention. His work in natural light black and white photography is considered to be some of the best in the world of blues.
Featured artists for this showing include: B.B. King, Luther Allison, Junior Wells, Koko Taylor, Son Seals, Little Milton, Jonny Lang, Joe Louis Walker, Etta James, Charlie Musselwhite, Mitch Woods, Studebaker John, and many more.
Michelle Hoch, with the LACVB stated, "We are excited to be able to present a gallery showing of the caliber that Tom is affording us. Tom is a true artist, and we're proud to be able to host his first Midwest showing this Winter."
