Leslie West, front man and guitarist for Mountain, the legendary power rock trio that made their electrifying debut at Woodstock in the summer of 1969, has teamed up with an all star lineup of performers to create a total rock experience with the trademark West guitar.

Chances are that once in your lifetime you have strummed at least one air-guitar chord to "Mississippi Queen" and this recording will not disappoint those fans. "Mississippi Queen," a staple at rock radio, has been voted the all time #49 Rock Classic.

The special guests read like a "who is who" of contemporary rock & roll. This is a true rock record with the emphasis being rock, but with blues underlings. Cats appearing include Poppa Chubby, Joe Lynn Turner, Bernard Perdie, Kim Simmonds and Vince Converse and others.

West, who has lost well over 150 pounds over the last couple of years, shines on Leon Russell/D. Dunn/D. Nix’s "Palace of the King," Russell/Chuck E. Blackwell’s "Me and My Guitar" and Otis Redding’s "Respect."
