blues picture From the mountains of Norway, Peer Gynt takes his audience on an epic journey around the globe. Unencumbered by tags or trends, he remains one of the most consistent and inspiring artists this decade has seen.

As well as being an accomplished singer, composer, guitar player, Peer Gynt's truly unique style, originates from his cunning combination of Norwegian folk tones, peppered with the raw power of his fat-toned blues sound.

Meek and humble, the ingredients of his music are basically simple, but become great in what he does with them. Focused on a broad audience, he weaves the age-old wisdom of his mountain culture, within the context of upbeat and heartfelt, rocking blues songs.

A man of impeccable intuition, his music reflects the turbulent times we are in. Full of mystery, Scandinavian roots reach deep down, not only as an individual but also collectively with his band, galvanizing things to a point where the sound gels, making it work, as it should. This interesting combination of musical styles is the main reason has been dubbed "King Of The Mountain Blues," and he delivers on that reputation.

Peer Gynt is a guy you can always count on to deliver the goods. Artistically as a person and a performer he has the outstanding aptitude to find exactly what he likes and not wait for anyone to say it¹s okay. And the moment it happens he knows it.

In The Norwegian National costume of his birthplace, the fiery stage shows he performs, are a musical treat for the ears as well the eyes, presenting excellent guitar-man-ship, and a visual ambiance that can move every type of audience.

Peer Gynt¹s wonderful ability to capture elusive feelings and experiences in his songs has always set him apart as an artist. His gravely emotive voice, against sweeter, warmer vocals, gives his songs a subtle power. The guitar chords and solos, the passionate and picturesque lyrics, Norwegian troll-tones, and perfect harmonies, seem to encapsulate all of Peer Gynt¹s qualities as a recording artist.

In addition to these facts, extensive touring proves beyond the shadow of a doubt, Peer Gynt is among the up and coming performers of his time, within his field of music. His public appearances have resulted in success, with rave reviews for national and international blues tabloids and press. His skillful performances create the necessary environment, which allows the audience to be drawn into the musical world of Peer Gynt.
